Veteran Resources and Support

Outside Resources

At AboutFace-USA®, we offer a wide range of resources to support veterans in various aspects of their lives. Additionally, we know there are other resources you might benefit from. Here is to your good health and well being:

The Emory Healthcare Veterans Program treats conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), military sexual trauma (MST), anxiety, and depression, FREE. Treatment is confidential and provided at no cost to eligible post-9/11 veterans and service members living anywhere in the United States regardless of discharge status, deployment history, or length of service.  Their two-week, evidence-based program is offered in person at their clinic in Atlanta, Georgia or via telehealth in participating states. You don’t have to live your life struggling with haunting memories, sleepless nights, panic attacks, or similar symptoms – challenges that can ruin your life and destroy your most valued relationships. Whatever you’re going through, you are not alone. In fact, an estimated one in three post-9/11 veterans and service members are affected by invisible wounds.

The Shepherd Center is a private, not-for-profit hospital specializing in medical treatment, research and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, spine and chronic pain, and other neuromuscular conditions. It has a special program for veterans, called the SHARE program, and it is FREE. It’s important to be confident about the quality of care you or a loved one will receive when entering a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) rehabilitation or treatment program. Their expert clinicians help patients get the most out of rehabilitation. In fact, their patients are more independent and have better outcomes than the national average.
For non-emergencies, call 404-603-4314 between 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. ET to speak with a representative from their admissions team. If you call after hours, please leave a message, and they’ll return your call during their regular operating hours. You can also email them at  SHAREadmissions@shepherd.org.
