Cumming’s First Indoor Aeroponic Farm
The AboutFace FARM is the first indoor aeroponic farm in Cumming, GA, located inside the AboutFace-USA Community Center. We’re proud to empower veterans, their families, and the community by promoting health, healing, and hope through innovative indoor farming.
Project GROW
As the heart of Project GROW (Gardening Recreation Outreach Wellness), this innovative space empowers veterans and their families through hands-on, therapeutic gardening that supports mental health, rehabilitation, and self-sufficiency. Veterans gain valuable skills, a sense of purpose, and community connection, while learning sustainable farming practices like growing microgreens and other fresh produce.
We grow fresh produce, available for purchase by local businesses and the community, to help fund veteran programs and improve access to healthy food. The farm also hosts gardening workshops, business training, volunteer opportunities, and special events for both veterans and the public!
Growing Skills, Confidence, and Community
Our aeroponic farm helps veterans and local residents grow resilience, confidence, and skills. Together, we can cultivate wellness and help everyone in our community thrive!
Project RISE
At the heart of AboutFace Farm’s success is not just the produce we grow, but the people who make it possible. Each Wednesday and Friday, we welcome a dedicated group of young adults from Project RISE, a hands-on learning program led by teachers Erin and Jodi. These exceptional students bring energy, purpose, and care to every task! They help tend Tower Gardens, harvest produce, and maintain operations. Their work supports the farm while building their own skills and confidence. With every visit, they bring joy, dedication, and a shared sense of purpose, reflecting AboutFace Farm’s mission to cultivate healing, hope, and connection through community and nature.
