Veteran-led Peer Support Groups or Individual Conversations
There are many reasons to seek out support, whether it's that you miss the comradery found in military experiences or have family frustrations, unintentional isolation, or a desire to improve your circumstances, we are here for you. Our Veteran-led Peer Counseling Groups meet twice a month, men at our Veteran Resource and Community Center in Cumming, Georgia, and women online.
Ride Service Program
Access to care is here. Our Healthcare Ride Service provides safe, reliable transportation for veterans to and from healthcare appointments. Register once, get approved, and you will get a phone number to call to schedule your rides to Atlanta VAMC, VA Clinics, or local non-VA appointments.
Free for veterans in Forsyth, Dawson, and Lumpkin Counties, as well as veterans in Alpharetta, Johns Creek, and Milton city zip codes.
Financial Coaching
Take charge of your financial future with AboutFace-USA’s Financial Literacy Coaching, designed specifically for veterans and their families. Specific to your financial knowledge and circumstances, we offer fourcoaching sessions, beginning with an in-person meeting at the AboutFace-USA Community Center in Cumming, Georgia, followed by personalized one-on-one sessions via Zoom or phone. Secure lasting financial confidence in yourself with our comprehensive support.
Holistic Healing
Many veterans face unexpected and disruptive trauma symptoms in daily life. This program, led by Carolyn Agosta, teaches proven self-healing techniques to help neutralize sudden feelings of anxiety, anger, or distress. Join us online bi-monthly for this skills series designed to energize and empower you.
